Workbook for Therapists

There is a special renewed edition of our workbook!
This edition includes the added resources: cell salts 13 to 27 included in the Materia Medica and in the repertory. The first edition was published in 1999. Our wish at the time was to make the Schüssler therapy better known in the Netherlands. Now, 17 years later, more than 3000 workbooks have been distributed. Because we have been publishing the workbook ourselves from the beginning, we are able to include new knowledge and insights in a revised edition. That is why we can now offer an 11th renewal. Since 2005, facial diagnosis has been included in the workbook. It has proven to be a good method for determining which cell salt deficiencies someone has. We like to work with two reference frameworks: Facial diagnosis and Astro-biochemistry, supported by the Materia Medica and the repertory.

In the 2012 edition we included the Theory and Materia Medica (an adaptation of the book “The twelve tissue remedies” by Boericke & Dewey) as the second part. A special section on animals became redundant with this second part. In 2015 there was an extension on facial diagnosis up to and including cell salt number 27. We were also able to greatly improve the descriptions of these ‘added’ remedies. In addition, we released the CD-ROM with hyperlinks. For those who have already purchased the paper version, we can and want to provide the digital edition at a greatly reduced price.

And now 2017, another new edition of the workbook.

We have included the Materica Medica with the descriptions of the various cell salts. The ‘added’ remedies (nos. 13 to 27) have also been processed in Materia Medica with the descriptions. These numbers are now also included in the repertory. Our wish to make this safe, natural healing therapy known seems to be working out quite well. The “word of mouth” advertising, advice to individual clients and the feedback that we greatly appreciate. In short, everyone who became enthusiastic with us contributed to this. This is also noticeable in the competition from other companies. Partly because of this; we receive many questions about the difference in effect between the homeopathically registered Schüssler salts and our VitaZouten. In the appendix you will find an extensive description of what this difference entails. A price list and the new table of contents have also been added. In his first writings, Dr. Schüssler already indicated the importance of the salt being supplemented in its natural form and as a substance that can be absorbed by the body cells for the effect as he intended.

As a Dutch Centre, we exclusively guarantee the effect of the cell salts - VitaZouten - as they are marketed by Vita-reform:
Naturally formed salts and traditionally prepared.

What are cell salts and how do deficiencies arise?

Dr. Schüssler's cell salt therapy
The Dutch center for Dr. Schüssler's cell salt therapy, founded in 1995, stands for the ideology and the realization of making this safe, natural healing therapy more widely known. In addition, we are committed to successfully making Dr. Schüssler's cell salt therapy applicable for both the therapist and the individual. Healthy and fit through the use of substances that can be absorbed by the body cells.

Dr. W.H. Schüssler (1821-1898) was a physician, homeopath and anatomopathologist. In his work as anatomopathologist, he discovered that after cremation, 12 inorganic salts remained as a residue of the cremated body. He also found that a disproportion in these inorganic compounds could be found in the clinical picture of the deceased person. From these experiences, he laid the foundation for cell salt therapy, the basis for natural health.

Cell salts, according to the classical recipe, as substances that can be absorbed by the body cells, can be used by young and old in addition to any other form of medication, both regular and homeopathic. These are salts (a compound of 2 or more mineral substances), which we should normally get in sufficient quantities through our food.

Read more about the causes of deficiencies.

Why cell salts are so important?

Cell salts are specific connections between 2 minerals, one of which is positively charged and the other negatively charged, which means they attract each other and form a stable couple. Our cells need these salts, just like vitamins, to function properly. Our cells use these salts to be able to process the stresses they encounter of any kind, such as: stress, viruses, pollution, etc. If a shortage of cell salts occurs due to overload, the cell can no longer recover and is no longer able to perform its function, and a pathological situation arises (Schüssler 1874). To resolve this pathological situation, the cell needs cell salts.

Normally, we obtain the necessary cell salts through our food. But then our food must be of good quality and we must chew our food very well, because the cell salts from our food only remain cell salts if they enter the bloodstream via the oral mucosa. As soon as cell salts enter the stomach, they are broken down into simple minerals by our stomach acid.

A shortage of cell salts occurs in our time due to 3 causes:
1.
Our food contains less and less cell salts due to the depletion of the soil, which means that vegetables and fruit contain less and less cell salts.
2. Our lives have become increasingly hectic and stressful, which means that our cells need more and more cell salts to continue to function healthily.
3. We eat more and more processed food and chewing our food carefully is no longer in keeping with the times, everything has to be quick and easy.
